1. GENERAL INFORMATION

The purpose of this manual is to assist the operator in assembling, operating, and maintaining the KELCO Convertible. Read it carefully. It furnishes information and instructions that will help you achieve years of dependable performance.

The information in this manual was current at time of printing. Due to possible engineering changes your machine may vary slightly in detail. KELCO Industries reserves the right to design and change the machine as may be necessary without notification.

3. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1.The Kelco Convertible is a stand alone unit and can only be shipped by Motor Carrier.
2.Remove attached Tree Table Bar and slide into provided slots at end opposite hitch.
3.Remove Winch Base (A) from carton and bolt onto Kelco Convertible at end closest to hitch (in existing predrilled holes).
4.Insert Handle Extension (B) into Winch Base (A).
5.Put a roll pin at each end of Handle Extension (B) (thru existing hole) after inserting into winch at marked location on diagram.
6.Attach Handle (C) to Handle Extension (B) and tighten with provided thumb bolt.
7.Attach Brake Handle (D) (included in kit) to winch with provided shoulder bolt. Attach Brake Handle (D) according to cardboard template currently attached to winch base. Also, see diagram for further reference.

4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place netting or boxing attachment on packager.
2. Using a soft poly rope (approx. 12 feet) tie a 12 inch loop at one end and attach other end onto winch.
3. Hook base of tree with rope by looping rope around one bottom branch, going around base of tree and looping rope over another bottom branch and then putting loop over base of tree.
4. Hand winch the tree through netting or into the appropriately sized box.
5. Handle can be adjusted in length to add more power or speed.

5. MAINTENANCE

Oiling of all moving parts will insure that the Kelco Convertible will operate to your satisfaction.



6. WARRANTY

Your Kelco product is sent to you directly from our factory. If you should have any problems that can not be resolved with your machine by the enclosed literature, call us at 1-800-343-4057. If it cannot be corrected we will send you a new machine.
