The tree trainer is used to establish a new leader or central terminal where this is lacking. Simply slip the trainer down through the top whorl, select a lateral, place it in the two upper loops and the job is done.
Made of 12 gauge steel wire, it can be used any time during the year, preferably during the shearing season.
